David is a CPA and graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Economics (Acct). He was an investment banker in Asia for more than 10 years and had advised on mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, fund raising (both debt and equity) and during the Asian Financial Crisis, corporate and debt restructuring.

He is currently the Head of Corporate Finance with Zheng He Global Capital Ltd, an ASX listed company providing, amongst others, corporate advisory services to listed and unlisted companies venturing out of Australia into Asia or Asian companies seeking to invest into Australia.

He has been active in CPBA since joining in February 2009 and assumed the role of Membership Secretary in November 2009.

David is a very keen fisherman and hopes to buy a boat one day and catches that elusive giant snapper in Port Phillip Bay. In the meantime, he hopes that any member or their friends with a boat would ask him along in their fishing trips.
