NEWS

CPBA (Chinese Professional and Business Association) have been invited to join the Steering Committee of a new initiative, Chinese Health Promotion Coalition, CHPC.

Studies have found that Chronic Hepatitis B is prevalent in Chinese communities. CHPC aims to educate and bring awareness of this disease, which may lead to liver cancer, within the Chinese communities in Victoria.

CHPC is a spear headed by Hepatitis Victoria with support from member organisations such as CPBA, Australian Chinese Medical Association of Victoria, ACMAV, and the City of Melbourne.

The Launch Event will be on 23rd September at Melbourne Town Hall.
